Wednesdays, 7pm - 9pm An in-person six-week course introducing several foundational teachings of Buddhism - the three-fold path and the three jewels. We will also learn the two core meditations in the Triratna tradition - mindfulness of breathing and the metta bhavana. Learn how to apply the practices and over 2,500 year old teachings of the Buddha to your life. These teachings are still very relevant today in order to work with your mind, heart and to show up more fully in your life. Please plan to arrive 10 mins before the start time in order to ensure we are ready to start at 7:00pm. How do I book? In order to book via the website you, please click the book now link, and pay a £5 booking fee. If you cannot afford this, for whatever reason, please email gbc@glasgowbuddhistcentre.com in order to book. Do I have to pay? The Glasgow Buddhist Centre provides the priceless teachings for free to whoever wants them, but we do survive on donations. We ask for suggested donations of between £30 - £60 for the whole course. This is a guideline for those who appreciate it but we will gladly accept less or more, whatever you can afford. If you cannot afford any donation, please still come!
