Joy qualified with Yoga Scotland in 2011 and since then has been teaching a range of classess and 1:1 sessions, focussing on body and breath awareness. This is a mixed class. It will have people in it who are experienced yoga practitioners and also warmly welcomes beginners.

You can book for 6 week block (£48/36) or pay each week as a drop in.

Wednesday Lunchtime Drop In Meditation

This popular lunchtime class is designed for anyone working or living locally. Take half an hour out of your weekly routine to refresh your body and mind with meditation.  This class is suitable for experienced meditators and also those with no prior experience of sitting meditation. It runs from 12.30 -1pm.

Please note that as this class is only 30 mins long any instruction will be brief and minimal. For a fuller introduction to meditation please see our Thursday Morning Drop In.

There is no fee for the course. All our meditation and Buddhism events have no charge.

Iyengar Yoga Level 1 with Pauline Hamilton.

Repeats every week every Friday. 5.45pm to 6.45pm

Pauline qualified as an Iyengar Yoga teacher in 2011.

Her classes are suitable for beginners as well as regulars and will help you develop greater strength, improved posture and balance.

Classes are on Fridays, 5.45pm - 6.45pm. You can book per calender month or pay per class.

Glasgow Gay Men's Meditation Group - Last Sunday in month

Welcome!

We hope that you can manage to come along on the last Sunday in the month and meditate with us.

As usual there will be two groups, one for beginners and another for men who have been to our events before or are able to meditate without too much instruction.

After that we will enjoy a relaxed sociable lunch - please bring vegetarian food to share.

A 6-week Introductory Course 

We investigate the Buddha's teachings via the three-fold path of ethics, meditation and wisdom.

Each evening starts with an introduction to calming meditation practices, followed by a tea break. In the second half of the evening, there will be a talk, followed by group discussion led by an experienced Buddhist practitioner.

Bodhiccha and Allan are both pupils of Wee Kee Jin and are certified instructors of the School of Central Equilibrium founded by him. This school teaches the Yang style short form of Cheng Man-Ching, as developed by Master Huang of Malaysia. Master Huang developed the form as a martial art and brought into it some elements of White Crane karate, but the form as we teach it remains close to that taught by Cheng Man-Ching.
