The Buddhist path can be characterised through the qualities of the three principle Bodhisattavs representing compassion, wisdom and energy. Vajrapani being the third and the embodiment of energy.
This third aspect is, perhaps, the least stressed of the three but from the perspective of meditation it is arguably the most vital for without the necessary energy little progress can be attain.
This session will focus on the aspect of energy as the essential fuel for practice. In particular we will look at the vital part played by the correct attitude towards and understanding of the body and posture as the direct expression of our life energy and spirit we being to our practice.
We will ask to what extent we are trapped by our ‘idea’ about meditation and investigate how these ideas might be replaced by direct experience which offer us a feeling of authenticity and care. Through deep relaxation and dynamic alignment we will try to remember the importance of beginners mind.
