In this seven week course we are going to work with the Meridian Sweep and the Eight Strands of Brocade. One's health should be as highly treasured as silk brocade, hence this Qigong sequence is known as the The Eight Treasures. A Six Week Introductory Course
We investigate the three-fold path of Ethics, Meditation and Wisdom. Each evening starts with an introduction to meditation followed by a tea break and then study and discussion led by an experienced Buddhist. Pete has been practising Tai Chi since 1994 and teaching since 2009. He initially studied Yang style long form under Alistair Sutherland and then latterly studied the short form under Tom Williams. Pete is a registered instructor with the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain.
The class caters for beginners & regulars and includes instruction in the Yang short form, Qigong (energy cultivation) and a short meditation. The focus of the class is health and well-being.

This class are meant as an introduction to yoga and would be suitable for beginners and people with a limited experience of yoga. The course will introduce a short sequence of poses, which once learned can be practised with an emphasis on flowing movement and awareness of breathing.
