Community Night: Open Space

While sunday community nights are an opportunity for all of us in the Sangha to share what we find of value, the open space evening each month allows for what might emerge between us without any fixed ideas of what that might be. When Aloka initiated the first mythic context retreats they had no programme at all but he was confident that if a number of people, who are sincerely trying to practice the Dharma come together, then something will happen. GBC Community Hygge: A Day at the Seaside

The Danish concept of hygge emphasises "a pleasant and highly valued everyday experience of safety, equality, personal wholeness and a spontaneous social flow".
