Essentials of Buddhist Meditation, a six week course
A structured introduction to meditation, posture, setting up a practice, balancing effort and relaxation. Participants will gain a practical ability in the two foundation meditation practices, the mindfulness of breathing and the metta bhavana (development of loving kindness).
Meditation can produce many benefits, from reducing stress and improving quality of life, to accessing clearer states of mind and positive emotions such as love and compassion.
Each course comprises six weeks which run from 7 - 9pm and conclud with a day retreat on Sunday 6th of August from 10.30 - 4.30pm. (Please bring vegetarian food for our shared lunch on the day retreat.)

There is no fee for the course.
Donations are welcome; you can donate online, or at the centre, as you wish.
