This website aims to help you find your way around the program of activities we offer here at the Glasgow Buddhist Centre. You can also find out a bit about us, who we are and what we teach.  

 

 

Buddha Day Festival Shrine May 2008

 

 

New classes and courses in Meditation and Buddhism start regularly throughout the year.  These classes are open to everyone: you don’t need to be a Buddhist to benefit from them. We run morning and evening classes.

Breathworks: Mindfulness-based Pain Management

This course offers a range of strategies to ease suffering associated with chronic pain and /or physical ill health, whatever the diagnosis.

Regulars Drop in Meditation
For anyone familiar with the practices of metta bhavana and the mindfulness of breathing. Keep up your meditation in the company of others with this led session.No need to book, just come along and join in.

The centre is a favorite venue for those seeking Yoga or Taiji instruction. We offer classes after work, evenings and mornings.

You’ll find us at 329 Sauchiehall Street (opposite the dental hospital) on the first floor with stairway access. The centre is on all on one level and is light and airy – quite a different feel to the bustle and noise of Sauchiehall Street! If you have a disability and would like to visit us or attend a course, please contact us to check our facilities.
